Responsibilities
- Design, build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for ACWS application and infrastructure delivery.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, and related tools.
- Architect and deploy AWS resources and cloud services for secure application hosting, integration, monitoring, and operations.
- Build and operate secure containerized services using Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
- Integrate security scanning, vulnerability detection, automated testing, and security gates into delivery pipelines.
- Maintain secure container images and enforce secure configuration standards.
- Administer, harden, patch, and monitor containerization platforms and service health.
- Support secure deployment and operational integration of Appian application services in approved cloud environments.
- Troubleshoot pipeline, deployment, infrastructure, integration, and environment issues through resolution.
- Collaborate with developers, Appian specialists, information assurance personnel, database administrators, and system architects.
- Apply DoD cybersecurity controls including RMF, NIST SP 800-53, and STIG requirements.
- Maintain technical documentation such as pipeline diagrams, playbooks, configuration records, and operational procedures.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- At least 6 years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, cloud engineering, systems automation, or related enterprise technology roles.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Experience deploying and operating AWS or comparable cloud solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration automation tools.
- Familiarity with security automation, vulnerability scanning, and integrating security controls into software delivery pipelines.
- Experience in Agile software development or enterprise operations environments.
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Preferred experience with the Appian Platform, Appian Cloud, or Appian GovCloud.
- Preferred Terraform or Ansible experience or certification.
- Preferred CompTIA Security+, Linux+, or comparable cybersecurity or Linux certification.
- Preferred AWS certification such as Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, DevOps Engineer, or Security.
- Preferred experience with Git-based workflows, Tekton, GitLab CI, or comparable tooling.
- Preferred experience with Bash, Python, or Java scripting or programming.
- Preferred experience applying NIST SP 800-53, RMF, or STIG requirements to cloud and DevSecOps environments.
- SAFe or Agile DevOps certification and experience supporting PI Planning are preferred.
