Responsibilities
- Build developer tools used across Wix to improve engineering velocity and quality.
- Create new solutions and own existing tools for production testing, performance, and related infrastructure needs.
- Take projects from ideation to production, including technical design, RFCs, coding, and ongoing ownership.
- Develop full-stack, developer-centric tools with a backend orientation.
- Contribute to infrastructure supporting millions of parallel end-to-end tests and application performance improvements.
Requirements
- Experienced full-stack developer with a backend orientation and passion for developer tooling.
- Expertise in Node.js and backend languages such as Java or Scala.
- Ability to stay current with industry best practices and apply new tools and approaches.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, independent-learning, and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with products spanning server, cloud, and frontend technologies is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container-based infrastructure is advantageous.
