Responsibilities
- Build developer tools used across Wix to improve engineering velocity and quality.
- Create and maintain solutions for production testing, performance, and developer productivity.
- Own projects end to end from ideation and technical design through RFCs, coding, and production.
- Develop infrastructure tools and a testing platform capable of running millions of end-to-end tests in parallel.
- Collaborate within an experienced infrastructure team and influence developer-focused products at multiple levels.
Requirements
- Experienced full-stack developer with a backend orientation and an interest in tooling and deep technical investigation.
- Expertise in Node.js and backend languages such as Java or Scala.
- Ability to stay current with industry practices and tools and apply them within the team.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, independent learning, and teamwork skills.
- Experience with end-to-end products across server, cloud, and frontend technologies is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container-based infrastructure is advantageous.
