Base Salary
$157k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Contribute to team strategy, roadmap, tooling processes, and engineering culture.
- Scope, design, implement, and deploy robust software and infrastructure solutions.
- Balance reliability, throughput, latency, resiliency, engineering velocity, and cost.
- Design and implement solutions that improve infrastructure, resiliency, reliability, efficiency, and management at scale.
- Develop and maintain distributed systems and internal infrastructure tooling.
- Design orchestration strategies for reliable deployments and efficient resource allocation.
- Design, build, and debug high-scale distributed systems while identifying bottlenecks and implementing performance optimizations.
- Uphold engineering standards and improve the codebase and development processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least two years of work experience in software development.
- At least two years of experience designing and deploying scalable infrastructure in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- At least two years of experience with cloud-native networking, EC2 compute instances, and storage solutions for high-availability financial services.
- At least two years of experience developing software in Go and Ruby for distributed systems and internal tooling.
- At least two years of experience automating infrastructure management and developing core services for microservice architectures.
- At least two years of experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies for large-scale server fleets and microservices.
- At least two years of experience designing orchestration strategies and high-scale distributed systems using open-source tools.
- Experience analyzing system architectures, debugging performance bottlenecks, and implementing data-driven optimizations for latency, resiliency, and cost performance.

- Base salary range of $156,800–$235,200 per year, with potential equity and company bonuses or sales commissions in addition to base salary.
