Base Salary
$157k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain backend services for internal infrastructure and microservice operations.
- Develop automation and tooling for resource provisioning, deployments, and operational workflows.
- Produce and review technical designs while evaluating reliability, latency, throughput, resiliency, cost, and engineering velocity tradeoffs.
- Improve service operability through monitoring, alerting, on-call support, root-cause analysis, and remediation of recurring failures.
- Maintain engineering standards through code reviews, documentation, testing practices, and iterative system improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of related software engineering experience.
- At least 2 years of backend development experience in Go, including production services and automated tests.
- At least 2 years of experience with distributed systems, microservices, and service APIs including HTTP/REST or gRPC.
- At least 2 years of experience deploying and operating services with cloud computing, networking, and storage primitives in AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.
- At least 2 years of experience with Docker, Kubernetes, containers, and production operation of containerized services.
- At least 2 years of experience with observability and production troubleshooting using logs, metrics, and tracing in Linux-based environments.
Benefits
- Base salary of $156,800.00–$235,200.00 per year.
