Responsibilities
- Own the full software development lifecycle from business requirements through coding, deployment, and maintenance.
- Design and implement new Data License Plus product features from inception through production.
- Continuously improve the core product using new technologies.
- Work across microservices, databases, messaging, streaming, and data-processing components.
Requirements
- Production software engineering experience.
- Experience with an object-oriented programming language, ideally Java or Python.
- Broad knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Thorough understanding of systems architecture.
- Understanding of modern design patterns and demonstrated experience applying them.
- Preferred experience implementing APIs in a microservices architecture.
- Preferred familiarity with Oracle or PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases such as Elasticsearch.
- Preferred knowledge of Avro, Parquet, Apache Iceberg, or Delta Lake.
- Preferred knowledge of messaging and streaming technologies such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
- Interest in full-stack development spanning frontend development, microservices, and database modeling.
- Ability and willingness to learn new technologies and tackle new challenges.
