Base Salary

$115k - $165k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build, mentor, and manage an effective QA team and allocate resources to support project quality delivery.
  • Guide team-member performance and behavior and support hiring and talent acquisition.
  • Define test strategies and plans based on software development plans.
  • Design test cases, establish test environments, and develop automated testing tools and scripts.
  • Prepare test reports, perform initial issue analysis, and contribute to defect prevention.
  • Improve testing processes and methodologies continuously.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent field.
  • 10+ years of software quality assurance or testing experience in the mobile or automotive industry.
  • 3+ years of experience testing Android code.
  • 3 years of experience as a Scrum Lead, Product Owner/Manager, or Team Lead.
  • Strong knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies and tools.
  • Strong experience with test automation frameworks such as Robot Framework or Appium.
  • Programming skills in common languages such as Python and Java.
  • Knowledge of connectivity technologies and Scrum/Agile software development processes.
  • Experience with vehicle communication network protocols such as CAN, Ethernet, and SOME-IP is a plus.
  • Advanced degrees and certifications are preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, analytical, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
