Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Own marketing-focused services end to end, including design, implementation, code review, deployment, monitoring, and on-call support.
- Build and evolve marketing-led landing page infrastructure and self-serve audience and attribute capabilities.
- Develop systems for paid media tooling, feed automation, lifecycle and campaign operations, marketing data, internal platform tooling, and recommendation model consumption.
- Integrate AI agents into marketing workflows with evaluation harnesses, monitoring, and defined failure modes.
- Partner directly with lifecycle, paid, brand, and product marketing teams to identify repeatable needs and turn ambiguous requests into prioritized technical plans.
- Ship production code to Faire’s engineering standards and communicate tradeoffs and progress to non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- 4+ years of shipping and owning production software in or adjacent to a marketing, growth, or GTM organization.
- Experience working in a production codebase using Faire’s stated backend, frontend, database, and cloud technologies.
- SQL proficiency and enough warehouse experience to instrument outcomes and use data to guide product and engineering decisions.
- Depth in at least one marketing platform category, such as a CDP, ESP, attribution or analytics platform, CMS, or advertising platform API.
- Daily use of AI coding agents and experience putting LLMs into production systems with evaluations, monitoring, and defined failure modes.
- Track record of owning systems end to end, including on-call, and delivering them to non-technical users who operate them independently.
- Preferred experience includes marketplace or two-sided e-commerce work, Kotlin or Java backend development, JavaScript or TypeScript with React or Next.js, replacing martech vendors with in-house systems, and experience with Braze, Hightouch, Google Ads, or Meta.
