Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery.
- Build and maintain cloud-agnostic infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, Ansible, and related tools.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, system hardening, and compliance measures.
- Manage Docker-based containerized applications and virtualized infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Optimize performance and troubleshoot issues while supporting availability, scalability, and reliability.
- Evaluate and deploy tools supporting DevOps automation transformation.
- Integrate and automate provisioning, configuration, and management of development and operations tools.
- Write software and scripts to deploy solutions and automate tasks.
- Develop automated tests for new and updated functionality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related technical or engineering discipline.
- At least 4 years of previous DevOps experience.
- Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, Python, Bash, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, Packer, Prometheus, Grafana, and Git.
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems, software development life cycles, networking concepts, and virtualized environments.
- Experience working across at least two major cloud platforms among AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Ability to analyze complex issues, recommend options, implement solutions, and work collaboratively with stakeholders.
- Understanding of DevSecOps practices and familiarity with test automation tools are preferred.
- Experience with Agile environments and AI/ML models is considered an advantage.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada and able to obtain and maintain applicable Canadian government security clearance and other required security assessments.
