Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery.
- Build and maintain cloud-agnostic infrastructure across AWS, GCP, Azure, and on-premises environments using Terraform, Kubernetes, and Ansible.
- Manage Docker-based containerized applications and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using observability tools.
- Optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain system availability, scalability, and reliability.
- Evaluate and deploy tools supporting DevOps automation transformation.
- Implement security hardening, compliance measures, and DevSecOps practices.
- Configure and maintain networks, devices, virtualized environments, and infrastructure.
- Integrate and automate provisioning, configuration, and management of infrastructure tools.
- Write software and scripts for deployment and task automation.
- Develop automated tests for new and updated functionality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related technical or engineering discipline.
- At least 4 years of previous DevOps experience.
- Experience with Jenkins and GitLab CI, with GitLab CI preferred.
- Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, and Packer.
- Experience with Prometheus and Grafana for observability.
- Familiarity with Git, branching strategies, Linux/Unix systems, software development life cycles, networking concepts, and virtualized environments.
- Experience working across at least two major cloud platforms among AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Ability to analyze complex issues, recommend options, implement solutions, and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Understanding of DevSecOps practices and exposure to Agile environments.
- Familiarity with test automation tools and integrating automated tests into development processes.
- Experience with or familiarity with AI/ML models is an advantage.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada and able to obtain and maintain applicable Canadian government security clearances.
