Responsibilities
- Architect, build, deploy, and scale robust backend microservices
- Own features from concept through development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Lead system design decisions and define service boundaries for scalable global architecture
- Write efficient, reliable, and maintainable production code
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams on user-focused features
- Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies and development practices
- Conduct code reviews, promote engineering best practices, and mentor junior engineers
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent hands-on experience
- 6+ years of backend development experience, including production systems at scale
- Proficiency in one or more backend languages such as Python, Go, Java, or Node.js
- Understanding of system design, distributed systems, data structures, multithreading, and design patterns
- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
