Responsibilities
- Lead technical initiatives and resolve complex problems across the Talent Profile, Company Profile, and Salary Products domains.
- Define technical direction, produce detailed technical work and high-level architecture, and oversee technical quality.
- Collaborate with Engineering Managers, engineering leaders, product leaders, architects, and directors to simplify domain complexity and align delivery.
- Drive engineering maturity, architectural health, security health, delivery speed, quality, performance, and innovation across the domain and organisation.
- Mentor engineers, lead the engineering community, foster technical alignment, and contribute to knowledge sharing.
- Remain hands-on in the codebase while serving as the escalation point for technical issues and challenges.
Requirements
- Staff-level software engineering background with deep expertise in .NET and React.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale, production-grade systems using A/B testing.
- Experience designing and operating large-scale distributed systems on AWS, including secure development, data protection, compliance, and enterprise architecture.
- Strong modern frontend expertise in component architecture, design systems, responsive design, accessibility including WCAG, and client-side state management.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise SaaS web platforms using microservices and micro-frontends.
- Experience with performance optimization including Core Web Vitals, rendering, code splitting, and CDN usage, as well as API integration and service scalability and resilience.
- Expertise in LLM-powered web system design, including state, caching, guardrails, and observability.
- Strong communication skills for mentoring engineers and setting technical direction across teams.
