Responsibilities

  • Deliver clean, readable, maintainable code aligned with team conventions and coding standards.
  • Implement features and bug fixes using established team technologies, frameworks, tools, and documented patterns.
  • Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to prevent regressions and ensure reliability.
  • Investigate and resolve straightforward coding and production issues using logs, breakpoints, debugging tools, testing, and documentation.
  • Follow secure coding practices and escalate potential vulnerabilities or risks to senior engineers.
  • Participate in task breakdowns, code reviews, team planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and continuous deployment practices.
  • Communicate progress, blockers, risks, and availability while collaborating with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Build foundational understanding of system architecture, integration points, dependencies, and customer and business impact.
  • Suggest process improvements and contribute to a respectful, cooperative, and team-first culture.

Requirements

  • Relevant hands-on experience delivering software solutions using modern programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
  • Foundational understanding of debugging, testing, secure coding, and core software development practices.
  • Ability to collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Curiosity, willingness to seek guidance, and motivation to learn and experiment with new tools or approaches.
  • Effective time management, accountability, proactive problem-solving, and clear communication skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in business context, customer impact, and making engineering decisions aligned with both.
