Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end architecture of the Hosting Capability Framework across public and private cloud.
- Define and govern standardized hosting models, stacks, reusable patterns, and datacentre patterns including Hyperscale, Regional, In-Country, and Edge.
- Drive multi-cloud portability strategies across core platform capabilities and AWS-native alternatives.
- Define and enforce security, risk, resiliency, data residency, isolation, zero trust, data access, and segmentation controls.
- Embed architecture guidance and validation into engineering workflows and design architecture governance automation tools.
- Evaluate and integrate AI-enabled capabilities while meeting scalability, security, auditability, and resiliency requirements.
- Provide senior technical leadership, mentoring, stakeholder management, and architecture direction across global teams.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in architecture concepts with advanced applied experience.
- Extensive senior-level hands-on software and systems architecture experience delivering large-scale, mission-critical systems.
- Expertise in hosting and datacentre architecture across public and private cloud environments.
- Experience designing scalable, secure, and cost-effective enterprise hosting platforms.
- Experience with horizontal Risk & Trust capabilities including isolation, zero trust, data access, data residency, and segmentation.
- Practical proficiency with AI-assisted development and coding tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot.
- Experience with architecture-as-code frameworks such as FINOS CALM or similar.
- Demonstrated experience applying enterprise-authorized AI capabilities in architecture and engineering workflows with strong validation practices and data-sensitivity awareness.
- Experience evaluating and integrating AI-enabled capabilities into scalable platforms while meeting resiliency, security, and auditability requirements.
- Senior technical leadership, team mentoring, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
