Responsibilities
- Solve real-world software engineering projects during the internship.
- Write complex algorithms and apply strong design practices and principles.
- Build and support systems driving trading strategies, including pricing, risk, analysis, modelling, and trading tools.
- Collaborate with engineers and traders on business-critical problems.
- Develop knowledge of high-frequency trading and build relationships across trading and technology teams.
Requirements
- Academic background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Engineering with a minimum Distinction average; High Distinction is preferred.
- Must have commenced the penultimate year of study.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or C++, with comfort working in Java or Python during the internship.
- Strong analytical skills and enthusiasm for solving complex problems programmatically.
- Demonstrated high impact through experiences such as scholarships, competitions, or internships.
- Must be available to start in May or June 2027.
