Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, debug, document, and maintain complex software applications and embedded systems.
  • Develop software for embedded Linux platforms, industrial controls, instrumentation systems, and IoT edge devices.
  • Lead software architecture, technical design reviews, and software development projects from concept through deployment.
  • Develop web applications, user interfaces, dashboards, data visualization tools, and cloud-connected services for industrial and digital solutions.
  • Develop algorithms for data acquisition, signal processing, analytics, artificial intelligence, and operational intelligence.
  • Implement AI-enabled capabilities for automation, diagnostics, predictive maintenance, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, controls, manufacturing, and product management teams.
  • Ensure software quality through code reviews, automated testing, continuous integration, cybersecurity practices, and engineering standards.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • At least 5 years of professional software development experience, including technical leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong proficiency in C and C++ software development.
  • Extensive experience developing applications on Linux-based and embedded platforms.
  • Experience with industrial controls, instrumentation, automation systems, IoT products, or edge computing solutions.
  • Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP, MQTT, or OPC UA is desired.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML technologies and data analytics is desired.
  • Experience with real-time, multithreaded applications is desired.
  • Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, React, Angular, Node.js, or similar web frameworks is desired.
  • Experience with secure application development and cybersecurity is desired.
  • Knowledge of databases and cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is desired.
  • Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing is desired.
