Responsibilities
- Architect and build scalable solutions using web services, APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Drive software development from design through delivery, including coding, code reviews, build processes, and operations.
- Design and improve high-performance distributed systems supporting Seller Central, Amazon Business detail pages, cart, and checkout.
- Review operational metrics, address alerts, and implement system improvements.
- Partner with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Lead technical discussions, influence architectural decisions, and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 3 years of video game industry experience supporting title development, release, or live operations.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
