Responsibilities
- Create and execute detailed test plans and automated scripts for embedded software.
- Validate real-time performance, firmware behavior, security requirements, communication protocols, and hardware-software integration.
- Build verification frameworks and optimize testing processes for compliance with industry standards.
- Analyze defects, coordinate with development teams on resolution, and improve product quality.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for rapid feedback.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship on testing methods and complex technical challenges.
Requirements
- Intermediate-level expertise in embedded software engineering and real-time system testing.
- Intermediate-level test automation experience, including building scalable automated testing frameworks.
- Experience validating communication protocol implementations and data exchange between components.
- Experience validating embedded-system security requirements and identifying vulnerabilities.
- Understanding of system architecture for developing effective test strategies.
- Scripting experience for automating repetitive testing and data analysis tasks.
- Version-control experience managing test code in distributed teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing issues across hardware and software.
- Experience mentoring others and sharing knowledge to improve team performance.
