Responsibilities
- Build internal tools and services in Python and/or Go.
- Develop tooling for the internal developer platform, including self-service workflows.
- Add automation to enable developer workflows across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Create AI-based workflows to improve developer experience and reduce manual work.
- Enhance observability for platform services to facilitate issue detection and debugging.
- Automate common engineering workflows such as environment setup and releases.
- Integrate tools into existing workflows to reduce time-to-resolution.
- Participate in on-call/incident response and drive automation to prevent repeat issues.
Requirements
- Professional software engineering experience in Python and/or Go.
- Experience building developer productivity tooling like CI systems and workflow automation.
- Familiarity with at least one cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong fundamentals in testing, code review, debugging, and operating production services.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-team environment.
- Kubernetes experience is a plus.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform/OpenTofu is preferred.
