Responsibilities
- Build internal tools and services in Python and/or Go
- Build internal developer platform tooling, including self-service workflows, shared patterns, and developer-facing interfaces
- Enable developer workflows across AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Develop AI-based workflows that improve developer experience and reduce repetitive manual work
- Improve observability through metrics, logs, and traces to make failures easier to diagnose
- Automate scaffolding, environment setup, releases, and operational runbooks
- Integrate tools with CLI, Slack, GitHub, and dashboards where they reduce time to resolution
- Participate in on-call and incident response and drive follow-up automation
- Own medium-sized projects end-to-end and measure outcomes such as faster builds, fewer incidents, and reduced operational toil
Requirements
- Professional software engineering experience with Python and/or Go
- Experience building developer productivity tooling such as CI systems, build tooling, developer portals, or workflow automation
- Experience with at least one of AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Strong fundamentals in testing, code review, debugging, and operating production services
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-team environment
- Kubernetes experience is an advantage
- Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform or OpenTofu, including reusable modules and safe state management, is an advantage
