Base Salary
$164k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, test, and QA software applications or operating systems.
- Build enhancements within existing software architectures and suggest architectural improvements.
- Architect and build large-scale cloud services and enterprise distributed or cloud-native systems.
- Develop software using Java or similar object-oriented languages and microservices frameworks.
- Influence full-system architecture and apply distributed-systems design best practices.
- Work with Kubernetes, Docker, identity technologies, and CI/CD technologies including Terraform, Ansible, or Jenkins.
- May telecommute.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 10 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a Software Developer-related occupation.
- Strong grasp of system design fundamentals and distributed-systems architectural best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to write code in Java or similar object-oriented languages.
- Experience architecting and building large-scale cloud services.
- Experience with web application development using microservices frameworks.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Demonstrated ability to influence full-system architecture.
- Experience with OAuth2, OIDC, or SAML identity and security technologies.
- Experience developing and shipping enterprise distributed or cloud-native systems.
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or Jenkins for CI/CD.
