Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Keycard Agent SDK libraries across Go, Python, TypeScript, and Rust.
- Provide developers with SDK access to policy enforcement, identity propagation, audit logging, runtime governance, and telemetry.
- Maintain compatibility with upstream agent frameworks and diverse cloud, edge, and hybrid deployment patterns.
- Contribute to open protocol work involving MCP and A2A.
- Advocate for the needs of agent developers and collaborate with founders, product, and systems engineering teams.
- Own SDK quality through testing, backward compatibility, versioning, and thoughtful API surface design.
Requirements
- Follow the agent ecosystem closely and have hands-on experience building with agent tools and frameworks.
- Demonstrate strong systems engineering instincts, including testing, backward compatibility, versioning, and careful API design.
- Have built libraries or SDKs that other developers depend on.
- Work effectively across multiple programming languages.
- Experience with plugin systems, provider architectures, or marketplace and ecosystem engineering is a plus.
- Contributions to open-source agent frameworks or protocols are a plus.
- Library-level experience with OIDC, OAuth, or mTLS is a plus.
- Experience with OpenAPI, protobuf, or Smithy code-generation tools for multi-language SDK maintenance is a plus.
