Responsibilities
- Develop and implement threat modeling to identify security risks.
- Conduct vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and security assessments.
- Define and enforce secure coding practices with development teams.
- Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines with DevOps.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, conducting root cause analysis.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
- Design and implement identity and access management policies.
- Collaborate with product teams for security reviews of features and APIs.
- Develop incident response plans and security documentation.
- Stay updated on emerging threats and security technologies.
Requirements
- Around 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity or security engineering.
- Strong knowledge of secure coding principles and threat modeling techniques.
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and penetration testing methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM and security monitoring tools.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation for security tasks.
- Familiarity with cloud security in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of encryption protocols and network security best practices.
- Experience with DevSecOps and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to analyze security logs and detect anomalies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and communication abilities.
