Base Salary
$135k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Shape the strategy for containerizing Palantir platforms across diverse infrastructure types and customer environments
- Use Kubernetes primitives and its open-source ecosystem to solve business-critical platform and service lifecycle problems
- Build and evolve APIs and Kubernetes controllers for in-house and third-party developers
- Abstract complex distributed systems into scalable, infrastructure-agnostic runtimes supporting hundreds of specialized microservices
- Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders to deliver sustainable technical solutions
- Drive a long-term technical roadmap that reduces operational burden and risk while improving scalability
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- 1+ year of experience contributing to system design or architecture, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling
- 1+ year of experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team lead
- Strong coding skills in Go, Java, or equivalent
- Experience designing, building, and operating high-scale observability or infrastructure systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
