Responsibilities
- Build and maintain user-facing fleet management applications with Leptos.
- Design and implement Rust/Axum backend services for IoT device lifecycle, health state, provisioning, and remote operations.
- Design and evolve database schemas for fleet, device configuration, and operational state.
- Define API contracts between the frontend, backend, and third-party integrators.
- Maintain high code quality through testing, code review, and secure-by-design practices.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support reliable and frequent releases.
- Collaborate across teams on distributed systems, edge computing, real-time data, and fleet management challenges.
Requirements
- BSc, MSc, or PhD in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in Rust, preferably with hands-on experience in Axum, Leptos, and Tokio.
- Experience with Postgres and MQTT-based data flows.
- Deep understanding of HTTPS, WebSocket, SSE, and WebRTC.
- Familiarity with OAuth2/OIDC flows and JWT-based authentication and authorization.
- Experience orchestrating AI agentic tools within the software development lifecycle.
- Fluent written and verbal English.
- Experience with IoT fleet management, adtech and retail media, or spatial geometry is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with ownership, adaptability, curiosity, and a hands-on approach.
