Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and test software modules according to engineering best practices.
- Produce robust software builds meeting defined performance and security criteria.
- Conduct system integration tests, diagnose faults, and improve software robustness and efficiency.
- Contribute to architectural and system design decisions for scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems.
- Lead and participate in code reviews and uphold coding standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and share engineering practices and domain knowledge.
- Enable agile team communication, coordination, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Support the Product Owner with product and backlog management techniques.
- Organize and facilitate agile ceremonies, events, and artifacts, including Program Increment Planning and demos.
- Remove impediments, resolve team conflicts, coach team members, and promote psychologically safe working practices.
Requirements
- Higher education in Computer Science from a university, university of applied sciences, or an equivalent diploma.
- Certification in an agile project framework such as SAFe.
- Proficiency in backend and frontend programming languages and a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and software engineering best practices.
- Experience with Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile Framework methodologies, including JIRA and Confluence.
- Strong communication, project management, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills.
- Ability to lead the evolution of software engineering standards and practices and resolve problems and conflicts.
- Strong written and verbal English language skills.
- Self-motivation, willingness to introduce new ideas, and willingness to initiate change.
