Base Salary
$204k - $259k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy production-grade system software components for driverless vehicles.
- Maintain and upgrade the operating system of the Telematics unit, including Linux kernel and device drivers.
- Design and implement robust networking solutions for reliable data transfer over wifi and cellular modems.
- Develop comprehensive testing methodologies to ensure reliability and security of low-level software.
- Collaborate with hardware partners and internal teams to address cross-disciplinary system challenges.
- Contribute to the design of depot network topologies for efficient vehicle servicing.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant technical field.
- Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages.
- 3+ years of experience developing software in a Linux environment.
- Strong understanding of the IP-based networking stack and its configuration in Linux.
