Base Salary
$118k - $212k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and own user-facing product features end to end, from frontend architecture through API integration, backend changes, testing, rollout, and production metrics.
- Use coding agents to generate, refactor, test, debug, and understand code while providing production-quality context and validation.
- Own frontend architecture, component systems, state and data flows, performance-sensitive experiences, and reliable testing patterns.
- Make API and backend changes needed to complete product experiences across frontend/backend boundaries.
- Apply automated tests, observability, staged rollouts, and rollback mechanisms to validate AI-generated code.
- Create reusable agent workflows, tooling, conventions, and playbooks to improve AI-native engineering productivity.
- Modernize legacy frontend and service code incrementally.
- Investigate performance issues, regressions, and incidents using logs, metrics, experiments, and AI-assisted debugging.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software engineering experience with strong frontend or client-side product engineering depth.
- Strong JavaScript and TypeScript fundamentals and hands-on experience with React or a comparable modern frontend framework.
- Experience shipping meaningful user-facing production features and making frontend architecture decisions involving components, state, data flow, performance, or testing.
- Ability to design or modify APIs, backend services, data contracts, or developer tooling.
- Hands-on experience using modern AI coding tools or coding agents in real development work.
- Strong fundamentals in system behavior, debugging, reliability, testing, and performance.
- Ability to learn unfamiliar technologies quickly and use AI to expand into adjacent parts of the stack.
- Strong product mindset and comfort working in a fast-moving environment with solution ownership.
- Preferred experience includes AI-native or agent-powered user experiences, coding agents, LLM workflows, developer productivity tools, backend development with Java, Kotlin, Python, or Node.js, large-scale consumer products, web performance, experimentation infrastructure, design systems, CI/CD quality gates, or 0-to-1 product development.

- Annual base salary range of $118,000—$212,000 USD.
- Depending on the position, eligibility may include a discretionary bonus and options.
