Responsibilities
- Define performance testing scope and strategies by analyzing application architecture and intake requests.
- Lead the end-to-end Performance Development Lifecycle using JMeter to build complex scripts, custom stubs, and solution accelerators.
- Perform root-cause analysis, monitor databases for slow queries, and recommend architecture and performance tuning improvements.
- Build and configure observability dashboards using Datadog, Splunk, and AWS CloudWatch.
- Validate and optimize performance across cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes/POD environments, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure scalability and reliability for Sterling OMS, inventory management, and end-to-end retail order workflows.
Requirements
- Strong performance engineering experience with architecture design recommendations and performance tuning solutions.
- Ability to analyze application architecture, identify performance evaluation targets, assess application impact, and define testing scope.
- Hands-on expertise with JMeter, including script, custom stub, and solution accelerator development across the Performance Development Lifecycle.
- Experience with root-cause analysis, performance defect resolution, monitoring, and observability dashboard setup.
- Expertise in cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes/POD environments, and CI/CD setup.
- Ability to monitor databases, identify performance-impacting queries, and provide tuning recommendations.
- Retail Order Management Systems, inventory management, Sterling OMS, Locust, and K6 knowledge are advantageous.
