Base Salary

$165k - $224k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and build software for next-generation distributed network products and services.
  • Develop components that operate and power AWS data center fabrics, data center interconnect networks, Internet peering, and other global network infrastructure.
  • Solve challenging problems in system scale, availability, reliability, and performance.
  • Participate in the full software development life cycle, including coding, reviews, source control, builds, testing, and operations.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $165,200.00 to $223,600.00 annually, plus potential sign-on payments and restricted stock units.
