Responsibilities
- Establish testing governance and define clear rules and boundaries for test frameworks.
- Drive shift-left testing by moving test execution earlier in the development lifecycle and dependency chain.
- Build reusable testing primitives and automated scaffolding for OpenStack and internal API test environments.
- Develop automated test reporting and evaluation tools to replace manual analysis.
- Design efficient test suites that improve meaningful code coverage while reducing execution time and resource consumption.
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines and maintain high product quality through test engineering.
Requirements
- Extensive experience designing and implementing test architectures for complex software systems.
- Deep expertise in CI/CD practices and shift-left testing principles.
- Solid understanding of OpenStack and API concepts.
- Proven ability to optimize test coverage against execution time.
- Experience with coding and scripting, such as Python or Go, for test automation and infrastructure management.
