Base Salary
$150k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and drive end-to-end HMI/UX validation strategy and quality standards for display logic, control flows, and user experience.
- Build and scale automated UI testing infrastructure, including test harnesses, simulators, visual regression frameworks, and CI/CD integration.
- Enable validation from hardware-in-the-loop through full-vehicle testing.
- Lead cross-functional debugging of complex UI and system issues and partner with TPM and validation teams on feature test plans.
- Mentor and grow a high-performing test engineering team into domain test specialists.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software validation experience with significant depth in UI/UX, display, or HMI testing.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience owning a validation domain and defining its test strategy, methodology, and automation infrastructure from the ground up.
- Strong automated UI testing background, including frameworks such as Appium and end-to-end test planning from requirements through release sign-off.
- Experience with Linux, QNX, or Android Automotive, plus understanding of automotive networking through CAN and Ethernet and its interaction with HMI systems.
- Deep expertise in Android Automotive OS or QNX is preferred.
- Experience with visual regression tools such as Applitools or Percy is preferred.
- Experience with modern CI/CD tooling such as Buildkite, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions is preferred.
