Responsibilities
- Develop applications that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
- Design components and individual programs and contribute to technical designs and specifications.
- Create and maintain unit tests, system documentation, and code aligned with development standards.
- Provide production support and participate in software development lifecycle activities.
- Use Java, JavaScript, Spring/Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL, cloud services, and application infrastructure to build solutions.
- Collaborate with architects, product managers, project managers, business partners, subject matter experts, peers, and end users.
- Apply risk and control processes, monitor and mitigate risk, and escalate issues appropriately.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and project-specific development practices.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience developing applications with Java, JavaScript, Spring/Spring Boot, REST APIs, and SQL.
- Experience with Git, Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins, Jira, IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, and Tomcat.
- Experience with or knowledge of MQ, container technologies, and AWS services including S3, SQS, EC2, KMS, and RDS.
- Experience with JUnit and Mockito and involvement in software testing.
- Experience with Angular or other UI frameworks; Python and Shell scripting familiarity is a plus.
- Experience across planning, analysis, design, development, and testing phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Knowledge of Agile development practices.
- Exposure to Snowflake or PostgreSQL is a plus, as are AI tools including Kiro and Apiiro.
