Responsibilities
- Design and implement modern, optimized build systems using best practices and coding standards.
- Create prototypes and technical documentation to propose system changes.
- Manage and improve CI infrastructure and related tools.
- Support code quality through consistent code reviews.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve and optimize CI tools.
- Plan and execute infrastructure projects and system migrations.
Requirements
- Understand C/C++ compilation processes and build tools such as CMake.
- Have experience integrating and operating build systems within CI/CD pipelines.
- Be proficient in Python or Go for internal tooling.
- Have working knowledge of Bash scripting and Linux administration, preferably Debian.
- Have experience operating containerized environments such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Be proficient with Git and collaborative branching workflows.
- Have experience planning and executing infrastructure projects or system migrations.
- Preferred qualifications include hands-on experience with Bazel, JHbuild, GNOME build tools, complex distributed build systems, multi-language package management, Kubernetes, and technical proposal or design-specification writing.
