Responsibilities
- Design and develop core orchestration components for high-performance, highly reliable production 5G deployments.
- Work across Kubernetes CSI, CRI, and CNI layers.
- Design application lifecycle workflows and features for deployment, management, upgrades, backups, and multiple deployment methods.
- Handle customer issues and escalations by providing root-cause analysis, workarounds, and fixes.
- Develop licensing features, licensing-data insight tools, and pod/storage planning capabilities.
- Integrate platform features with Kubernetes and support Robin bundles, Helm charts, operators, and Kubernetes YAML files.
- Guide and mentor new team members and fresh graduates.
- Provide product-feature content to the documentation team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with 3+ years of experience or a master's degree with 1+ years of experience.
- Have 1–10 years of experience.
- Strong proficiency in Go, Python, C++, Rust, or similar languages.
- Expertise in systems design and distributed systems, with very strong debugging skills for distributed-systems issues.
- In-depth knowledge of the Kubernetes stack and a deep understanding of systems and operating systems.
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Kubernetes and C, Go, or Rust, public clouds, or contributions to Kubernetes is a bonus.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
