Responsibilities
- Define system, functional, and architecture requirements for the Warehouse Gateway.
- Develop project and work plans, including personnel and equipment cost estimates.
- Perform basic design, infrastructure and middleware procurement, and log collection and management.
- Plan and execute releases.
- Design and operate system operations processes and troubleshoot issues.
- Develop applications for high-load transactions and design and execute performance testing.
- Implement features and conduct code reviews.
- Proactively identify and drive resolution of challenges within a diverse engineering organization.
- Potentially participate in development management and grow into an engineering leadership role.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of development experience using Java.
- Broad understanding of requirements and design decisions involved in building APIs and adding features.
- Experience participating in Public Cloud-related projects or equivalent knowledge.
- TOEIC score of 800 or above.
- Experience using generative AI coding assistant tools.
- Preferred: logistics industry knowledge.
- Preferred: experience providing e-commerce services, including B2C, C2C, or B2B2C services.
- Preferred: ability to facilitate meetings in English and business-level Japanese.
- Preferred: experience developing or mentoring engineers.
- Preferred: management experience.
- Preferred: experience introducing generative AI coding assistant tools into a team’s development process.
