Responsibilities
- Understand business requirements and deliver high-quality features quickly.
- Lead projects or teams through the design, development, testing, and operation of new user-facing features for large-scale e-commerce systems.
- Make technical decisions in complex circumstances and guide overall system architecture, scalability, maintainability, and future service direction.
- Design, implement, test, and release backend systems for varied development projects.
- Monitor services and investigate, report, and resolve production issues and operational inquiries.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of technical lead experience involving high-traffic web system architecture and technical decision-making.
- Experience leading overall system design with attention to scalability and maintainability and strategically guiding service direction.
- Experience leading service monitoring and production-environment troubleshooting and reporting.
- At least 5 years of Java/Spring Boot web application development experience.
- At least 5 years of REST API design and development experience, with familiarity with JUnit testing and code review.
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle or MySQL.
- Experience using Tomcat or WebLogic, Linux, Gradle, and Git.
- Experience with CI/CD using Jenkins or other tools.
- Experience developing systems with container architecture such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- English communication skills; TOEIC score of 800 or equivalent ability is noted.
- Preferred: performance, stress, or load testing experience; Redis, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Grafana, or Kibana experience; at least 3 years of PHP application development using any framework; Kubernetes environment-building experience; or CKA/CKAD certification.
- Advanced English and Japanese language abilities are listed.
