Base Salary
$180k - $290k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build key components of Stellar Core.
- Develop robust, scalable, and extensible technologies for developers and network participants.
- Collaborate on new architectures and subsystems with the engineering team.
- Write clean, maintainable code with a focus on edge case analysis.
- Own core subsystems of Stellar Core and help meet critical product milestones.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Investigate and refactor performance bottlenecks.
- Author detailed technical feature and protocol specifications.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software development experience.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent field.
- Proficient in modern C++ or Rust in a production environment.
- Strong communication skills for technical discussions.
- Solid understanding of software design patterns.
- Knowledge of best practices and development tools.
- Passion for performance debugging and benchmarking.
- Enthusiasm for working in a small, growing team.
