Base Salary
$121k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver robust Java backend applications using Spring Boot, Hibernate, multithreading, and Oracle DB.
- Define and enforce engineering standards for coding, testing, debugging, and deployment.
- Architect scalable and maintainable solutions aligned with enterprise and risk technology patterns.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers.
- Lead software delivery from technical design through production deployment.
- Collaborate with technology and business teams to identify enhancements for credit risk products and processes.
- Resolve high-impact technical and system problems while meeting functional, regulatory, data-protection, and system-integrity requirements.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of software engineering experience focused on Java backend application development and systems analysis.
- Deep practical expertise in Java, multithreading, Spring Boot, and Hibernate in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Hands-on Oracle DB experience, including database design and query optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to lead end-to-end software delivery and make independent technical decisions.
- Ability to guide developers and communicate technical decisions to engineering, risk, trading, and financial-control stakeholders.
- Strong collaboration, organization, autonomy, and communication skills in a global, fast-moving environment.
- Experience in banking, financial services, or credit risk technology is beneficial.
- Familiarity with credit risk concepts, risk data models, regulatory reporting, rates, or financial derivatives is beneficial.
- Exposure to architecture and infrastructure disciplines is beneficial.
- A master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is beneficial.
