Responsibilities
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to integrate machine learning models into preprocessing, fine-tuning, evaluation, and deployment pipelines.
- Develop tools and frameworks for model training, tuning, evaluation, and infrastructure integration.
- Build optimized NLP data storage, indexing, retrieval, and processing systems for high-volume structured and unstructured data.
- Integrate models into production using cloud infrastructure and monitor and improve model performance.
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot issues, implement model updates, and maintain documentation for ML infrastructure and support processes.
- Stay current with GenAI, NLP, machine learning, and information retrieval technologies and apply relevant best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related STEM field.
- 2–4 years of industrial experience in machine learning engineering, data science, or data engineering.
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or another high-level language commonly used in machine learning.
- Experience with NLP and machine learning frameworks and libraries such as PyTorch, HuggingFace, LangChain, spaCy, NLTK, and scikit-learn.
- Experience developing and managing NLP-focused data infrastructure, including storage, indexing, and retrieval systems.
- Proficiency with vector storage, indexing, and graph database technologies for scalable cloud operations.
- Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure and services such as AWS and GCP.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes on cloud-based infrastructure.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills and an interest in working as part of a team.
