Responsibilities
- Design knowledge representations, data models, or ontologies for media knowledge.
- Build and ship large-scale production ML and AI systems using LLMs.
- Develop systems for information extraction, entity linking, and knowledge graphs.
- Build production streaming and batch data pipelines.
- Prototype and test ideas with real data, iterate quickly, and maintain high engineering and data-quality standards.
- Own problems end to end from early prototypes through production.
- Collaborate with engineers and product partners and clearly explain complex topics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Substantial experience building and shipping large-scale ML or AI systems in production.
- Hands-on experience building production ML systems using LLMs, ideally for information extraction, entity linking, or knowledge graphs.
- Strong programming skills and experience with production streaming and batch data pipelines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Preferred: master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Preferred: experience with knowledge representations, data models, ontologies, multimodal understanding, LLM-as-judge evaluation, human annotation programs, vector search, RAG, LLM agents, or Spark and similar distributed data-processing frameworks.
