Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable data infrastructure for critical processes.
- Develop self-service platform features for ETL and orchestration.
- Optimize compute usage and processes to reduce costs.
- Automate platform operations to maintain high availability.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new services.
Requirements
- Experience with infrastructure as code and containerization, including tools such as Terraform, Helm, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with modern query engines such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, and Trino.
- Experience with modern data orchestration tools such as Airflow and Dagster.
- Proficiency in Python or Go.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate with teams, and balance stakeholder needs.
- Preferred experience includes performant API layers, dbt workflows, query optimization at scale, real-time streaming, petabyte-scale systems, and AI-enabled systems.
