Responsibilities
- Design enterprise-grade Optimizely architectures across content management, integrations, personalization, analytics, and digital experience platforms.
- Lead technical discovery, feasibility assessments, architecture documentation, proof-of-concepts, complex implementations, and critical technical decisions.
- Design AI-enabled experiences and workflows using Optimizely Opal, LLM services, agents, and retrieval-augmented generation.
- Advise enterprise clients on technology roadmaps, platform modernization, MarTech ecosystems, and integration strategies.
- Define content modeling, data collection, event tracking, analytics, security, performance, and maintainability practices.
- Support business development, solution shaping, client workshops, proposal development, estimation, and pre-sales activities.
- Mentor architects and developers, guide multidisciplinary teams, and manage a small team of direct reports.
Requirements
- 10+ years of enterprise web development experience, including at least five years in a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or similar leadership role.
- Deep Optimizely CMS expertise, including CMS 12 and/or SaaS CMS and multiple enterprise implementations delivered as lead architect.
- Strong .NET experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC, and Optimizely APIs.
- Experience with headless and hybrid architectures using Optimizely Graph and/or Content Delivery API, plus front-end integration with React or Next.js.
- Experience integrating CRM, commerce, CDP, PIM, DAM, search, identity, analytics, and enterprise platform ecosystems.
- Experience with Optimizely Data Platform, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Snowflake, or BigQuery.
- Production experience delivering AI-enabled capabilities, including LLM integrations, agents, and retrieval-augmented generation solutions.
- Experience with Optimizely DXP, Azure cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based development workflows.
- Experience with estimation, solution shaping, pre-sales, stakeholder management, team leadership, mentoring, and engineering or architecture team development.
- Preferred qualifications include Optimizely Commerce, CMP, Web Experimentation, Feature Experimentation, Opal, composable or MACH-inspired architectures, Contentful, Contentstack, agent frameworks, vector databases, MCP, and relevant Optimizely, cloud architecture, or AI certifications.
