Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end architecture and design for enterprise AI, cloud, data, and application solutions.
- Translate business requirements into secure, scalable, resilient, production-ready solution architectures.
- Define reusable patterns for generative AI, agentic AI, AWS, Databricks, APIs, microservices, event streaming, data platforms, and hybrid-cloud integration.
- Design production-grade AI solutions involving RAG, AI agents, model integration, evaluation, observability, and guardrails.
- Provide architecture governance from initial design through production rollout, including architecture reviews and production-readiness assessments.
- Evaluate platforms and vendors and recommend modernization, resiliency, performance, scalability, and cost-optimization opportunities.
- Guide and mentor architects, developers, data engineers, and cloud engineers while promoting architecture standards and engineering best practices.
- Ensure designs address security, privacy, availability, performance, disaster recovery, monitoring, and operational support.
- Communicate architecture decisions, technical risks, alternatives, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- At least 10 years of overall technology experience, including significant solution or enterprise architecture experience.
- Strong experience in enterprise solution architecture, cloud architecture, distributed systems design, and large-scale AI, cloud, data, and application platforms.
- Hands-on knowledge of AWS services including Bedrock, S3, EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, and PostgreSQL-based platforms.
- Strong understanding of generative AI and agentic AI architecture, including LLMs, RAG, vector databases, AI agents, model evaluation, observability, and guardrails.
- Experience with Python, APIs, microservices, containers, Kubernetes, event-driven architecture, Databricks, data lakes, lakehouse architecture, data pipelines, and enterprise data integration.
- Knowledge of application security, identity and access management, encryption, resiliency, disaster recovery, cloud governance, DevSecOps, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing, and production monitoring.
- Strong architecture leadership, decision-making, communication, stakeholder management, and ability to work across multiple teams and technology platforms.
- Preferred qualifications include financial services, AML, compliance, risk management, AI governance, responsible AI, model risk management, data privacy controls, enterprise modernization, and cloud migration experience.
- Preferred certifications include AWS, Databricks, AI/ML, Kubernetes, or enterprise architecture certifications; familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, Strands, CrewAI, Pydantic, Kafka, Apache Airflow, Terraform, and OpenShift is also valued.
