
ML Engineer – Generative AI & LLMs (Remote)

Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and productize scalable machine learning solutions using LLMs and real-world data.
- Build or contribute to agentic systems involving tool use, memory, planning, and multi-agent coordination.
- Rapidly prototype emerging tools and research ideas and turn prototypes into production-ready services.
- Apply statistics, machine learning, and analytical reasoning to understand data and its effect on product or business outcomes.
- Work closely with clients and engineering and data science teammates in a consulting environment.
Requirements
- Expertise in LLM engineering, including familiarity with popular LLM providers and their best practices.
- Hands-on experience with statistics and machine learning and the ability to demonstrate ownership of LLM projects.
- Proficiency with Python ML tools including Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, XGBoost, and PyTorch.
- Proficiency with Git, Docker, SQL, Bash, and FastAPI.
- Strong analytical thinking, critical reasoning, business acumen, and the ability to turn prototypes into production-ready services.
- Bachelor's degree or higher, such as an MS or PhD, in Computer Science or a related engineering field involving coding.
- Familiarity with AWS or Azure, GitHub Actions, Spark, Neo4j Cypher, and graph databases is a bonus.
