Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and modernize enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and TypeScript.
- Design and implement frontend and backend functionality, APIs, microservices, and integrations between corporate platforms.
- Contribute to technical design, architecture decisions, scalable solutions, legacy-system modernization, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Write clean, testable, maintainable code and participate in code reviews and technical quality improvements.
- Investigate and resolve application, integration, and performance issues; support incidents and root-cause analyses.
- Collaborate with international technology, architecture, business analysis, product, and stakeholder teams.
- Support continuous integration and delivery pipelines using Git, Maven, Jenkins, and related tools.
- Work with relational databases and improve the efficiency of data integrations and operations.
- Contribute to cloud, container, orchestration, and event-driven architecture solutions when applicable.
- Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to other developers.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, planning, refinement, and delivery activities.
- Balance production support, issue resolution, modernization, and new feature development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Advanced English proficiency at C1/C2 level and ability to communicate in an international environment.
- Experience developing full-stack applications with Java and Angular.
- Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Experience developing and integrating APIs and microservices.
- Knowledge of Hibernate, JPA, and relational databases such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with software architecture, object-oriented principles, system design, and software engineering best practices.
- Experience with critical enterprise applications, complex integrations, scalability, and high transaction volumes.
- Knowledge of Git, Maven, Jenkins, and continuous integration and delivery processes.
- Experience troubleshooting, resolving issues, and supporting applications in production environments.
- Experience modernizing legacy systems and evolving enterprise platforms.
- Ability to collaborate with engineering, architecture, product, and business analysis teams.
- Preferred experience includes financial services, messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ, event-driven architectures, AWS or other cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, monitoring and observability tools, application security practices, digital transformation, international stakeholders, developer mentoring, or technical leadership.
- Preferred certifications include those related to Java, AWS, Azure, Agile, or software development.
