Responsibilities
- Design, develop, operate, and improve Coupang Eats search system.
- Build and implement machine learning models and foundational models across the search funnel.
- Research, fine-tune, and apply LLM-based models to improve search quality.
- Analyze large-scale datasets to discover meaningful features and improve model performance.
- Design and analyze online experiments (e.g., A/B tests) to validate hypotheses.
- Solve search-related problems across multiple business verticals in Korea and Japan.
- Balance trade-offs between search quality, system stability, and scalability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, product, and business teams.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience developing and deploying machine learning models.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to quickly learn, proactively identify problems, and deliver business impact.
- Experience collaborating across teams.
