Base Salary
$143k - $197k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop scalable, reliable PaaS and IaaS platforms for company-wide use.
- Develop high-performance distributed systems for large-scale data storage, data processing, distributed deep learning, and simulation.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to improve platform efficiency.
- Build profiling tools that help engineers identify system bottlenecks.
- Build monitoring and introspection tools that help engineers analyze systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in computer science, engineering, statistics, or an equivalent field.
- At least 3 years of experience developing scalable, distributed, compute-intensive services and ETLs on AWS or other cloud platforms.
- At least 3 years of experience with cloud-native software architecture and development.
- Proficiency in C++, Python, Go, Scala, or Java.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Linux, Docker, LXC, and microservices.
