Responsibilities

  • Support developers as the primary point of contact for DevTools including GitHub, Jenkins, Jira, and Artifactory.
  • Troubleshoot tool-related issues and maintain reliable, scalable CI/CD pipelines and integrations.
  • Design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable, and high-performing systems.
  • Develop observability solutions using metrics, logging, and tracing, and improve application reliability.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and root cause analysis.
  • Manage container platforms and infrastructure, including deployment, provisioning, capacity, and workload management.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve workflows, automation, reliability practices, and developer productivity.
  • Document troubleshooting processes and reliability playbooks while promoting automation and self-service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, or a related field, or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
  • 3–8 years of experience in SRE or DevTools support roles.
  • Beginner-level programming or scripting experience in at least two listed technologies, including Python, Java, Go, PowerShell, JavaScript, Terraform, Ansible, Helm, Chef, or CloudFormation.
  • Basic understanding of YAML, JSON, HTML, and XML.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux or Windows systems and distributed computing environments.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket, ArgoCD, Artifactory, or Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, Datadog, New Relic, Dynatrace, or Sentry.
  • Experience supporting relational and non-relational databases, including query execution, performance management, and scaling.
  • Experience managing distributed container platforms and container infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in at least one major DevTool and strong knowledge of CI/CD principles and pipelines.
  • Knowledge of Linux systems, networking, containerization, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.
  • Programming or scripting proficiency in Python, Ansible, or similar technologies.
  • Availability for on-call support within a 24/7 operational support model.
