Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable automation platforms and reliability tooling.
- Build deployment orchestration, testing, validation, rollback, and self-service systems.
- Write maintainable production software in Python, Java, or Go.
- Improve monitoring, alerting, observability, performance, resilience, and operational readiness.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement durable engineering solutions.
- Develop AI-assisted operational workflows and agent-based or LLM-powered reliability solutions.
- Evaluate, validate, and operationalize AI-generated outputs in production environments.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, engineering standards, mentoring, and collaboration with globally distributed teams.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience with a bachelor's degree, or at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- One to five years of software engineering experience or equivalent SRE/DevOps experience with strong software development skills.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Go.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, system design, and distributed systems.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools including Jenkins, Terraform, or Ansible.
- Working knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk.
- Experience in Linux/Unix environments and strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include middleware experience with Kafka, IBM MQ, DataPower, or Spring Boot; AI/ML exposure; distributed or event-driven systems experience; familiarity with MCP, Cline, Aider, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot; and open-source, personal project, or hackathon experience.
