Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain frontend and backend components for digital banking applications.
- Build web application functionality using J2EE, JSP, JavaScript, React JS, CSS, XML, and related technologies.
- Implement and maintain content management and portal solutions using Adobe Experience Manager, WebLogic Portal, and TeamSite.
- Develop backend services and APIs using Spring, Spring Boot, Apache Camel, CXF, and Spring Batch.
- Work with Oracle Database and SQL for data retrieval, updates, and application integration.
- Support responsive web interfaces and mobile application development using React Native where required.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, defect fixing, troubleshooting, integration testing, code reviews, deployments, and production support.
- Write and maintain Unix shell scripts and work in HPUX, Linux, and Solaris environments.
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA engineers, senior developers, and stakeholders to deliver requirements.
- Prepare technical documentation and management reports covering development progress, defects, and delivery status.
Requirements
- Three years of software development experience, preferably with digital banking or enterprise applications.
- Basic knowledge of Java/J2EE, JSP, JavaScript, CSS, XML, and SQL.
- Familiarity with React JS, frontend development, Spring Framework, and enterprise application development.
- Knowledge of Oracle Database and SQL query writing.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.
- Understanding of REST APIs, web services, application integration, software development lifecycle, testing, debugging, and version control.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and collaborative development practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, willingness to learn, communication skills, and teamwork.
- Preferred exposure to Adobe Experience Manager, content management systems, WebLogic Portal, TeamSite, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Apache Camel, CXF, React Native, HPUX, Linux, and Solaris.
- Preferred understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, banking portals, retail banking products, digital banking workflows, and Agile tools.
