Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze software unit designs, software architectures, and software requirements.
  • Create unit and integration test specifications according to Automotive SPICE and ISO 26262.
  • Implement, execute, and document static and dynamic software unit and integration tests.
  • Perform error analysis and evaluate test results.
  • Develop test strategies, automation solutions, and forward-looking improvements for unit and integration testing.
  • Support test management and estimate effort for testing activities.
  • Collaborate closely with geographically distributed development and testing teams in Bangalore and Darmstadt.
  • Drive improvements to work products for the Battery Management System project.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of relevant experience.
  • B.E., B.Tech, or M.Tech with Electrical or Electronics as the main discipline; other disciplines are not accepted.
  • Experience testing embedded software.
  • Experience with microcontrollers; AURIX Platform experience is preferred.
  • Experience with debuggers, preferably UDE Debuggers.
  • Experience with Tessy and ISO 26262.
  • Good knowledge of C or C++.
  • Knowledge of Tessy, Enterprise Architect, Polarion, Jira, SVN, and Git.
  • Expertise in test automation toolchains including Jenkins, continuous integration, unit, and module testing is desirable.
  • Strong English communication skills and the ability to work effectively with geographically distributed teams.
  • German language knowledge is desirable.
  • Strong quality awareness, analytical and conceptual skills, teamwork, flexibility, and an independent, proactive working style.
