Responsibilities
- Review and analyze software unit designs, software architectures, and software requirements.
- Create unit and integration test specifications according to Automotive SPICE and ISO 26262.
- Implement, execute, and document static and dynamic software unit and integration tests.
- Perform error analysis and evaluate test results.
- Develop test strategies, automation solutions, and forward-looking improvements for unit and integration testing.
- Support test management and estimate effort for testing activities.
- Collaborate closely with geographically distributed development and testing teams in Bangalore and Darmstadt.
- Drive improvements to work products for the Battery Management System project.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of relevant experience.
- B.E., B.Tech, or M.Tech with Electrical or Electronics as the main discipline; other disciplines are not accepted.
- Experience testing embedded software.
- Experience with microcontrollers; AURIX Platform experience is preferred.
- Experience with debuggers, preferably UDE Debuggers.
- Experience with Tessy and ISO 26262.
- Good knowledge of C or C++.
- Knowledge of Tessy, Enterprise Architect, Polarion, Jira, SVN, and Git.
- Expertise in test automation toolchains including Jenkins, continuous integration, unit, and module testing is desirable.
- Strong English communication skills and the ability to work effectively with geographically distributed teams.
- German language knowledge is desirable.
- Strong quality awareness, analytical and conceptual skills, teamwork, flexibility, and an independent, proactive working style.
